World Menopause Day at Hello Mimi: A Week of Reclamation, Reflection and Real Support
For this year’s World Menopause Day, we decided to do things differently.
Because if there’s one thing we know from the women in our community, it’s this:
Menopause isn’t something we were ever really prepared for - at home, in our careers, or in the stories we’ve been told.
So this year, we didn’t just want to raise awareness.
We wanted to reclaim the narrative.
💛 Enter: Reclamation Week
A six-day journey of gentle rebellion, practical support, and radical self-kindness, designed to help you reconnect with your body, your pace, and your power.
From food to fatigue, rest to cravings, emotions to daily overwhelm, we explored what it really means to support yourself through menopause with less shame, more support, and a whole lot more compassion.
Here’s a recap of everything we shared:
🔸 Day 1: The Real Story of Menopause
We kicked off with one simple truth:
Menopause isn’t something to fix.
It’s a powerful transition and it deserves a new story.
That’s why we introduced our free guided tool:
📝 The “Reclaim Your Rhythm” Journal to help women pause, check in, and gently listen to what their bodies are really asking for.
Because self-awareness is the first step in self-support.
🔸 Day 2: The Cost of Pushing Through
We talked about the bone-deep exhaustion that comes from “powering through” menopause while juggling work, families, and expectations.
💛 Support shared:
A calming audio practice to reset your nervous system in under 5 minutes.
Because healing isn’t about doing more, it’s about giving yourself what you need.
🔸 Day 3: Rewriting Our Relationship with Food
One of the biggest shifts we explored was this:
What if food didn’t need to be controlled, but could be healing again?
We shared our Mini Food Reset PDF. A simple, practical resource to guide you back to nourishment, not restriction.
✨ Think: real food, real hormones, and real kindness to your body.
🔸 Day 4: When Cravings Are Signals, Not Failures
Cravings. Bloating. Afternoon fog.
They’re not a sign of weakness.
They’re messengers.
We reframed cravings not as the problem, but as a call for care.
💛 Support shared: Our Cravings Reset Tool to help you pause, breathe, and respond to your body’s signals with curiosity, not criticism.
🔸 Day 5: Reclaiming the Moment
Sometimes, the most powerful shift isn’t what you do, it’s how you pause.
We reminded our community that this phase isn’t about constant progress.
✨ It's about integration.
✨ It’s about tuning into the present moment , not rushing to “fix” what’s next.
We encouraged everyone to revisit the journal, re-listen to their favourite audio, or simply sit with a cup of tea in peace.
🔸 Today Day 6: World Menopause Day 💛
And finally, we arrived at the day itself.
Not with a whisper, but with a celebration 🎉.
Because this phase of life is not about decline.
It’s a calling to listen more closely, to live more deeply, and to lead more honestly than ever before.
🎙️ To mark the day, we launched our first-ever Hello Mimi Podcast:
“Reclaiming the Story of Your Body”
→ A warm, real, and empowering episode about how to shift from seeing your body as the problem to seeing it as your guide.
🌿 The Bigger Picture
Reclamation Week was never just about content.
It was about women.
Your voice.
Your rhythm.
Your right to feel supported in this season of life.
Because here at Hello Mimi, we believe:
You don’t have to do it alone.
You’re not too much, too tired, or too far gone.
And you’re certainly not broken.
You’re in transition and that’s where real transformation begins.
